If you don&#8217;t have it already, or have friends who haven&#8217;t gotten it .. well .. <a href=\"http:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/galcon\/id285820845?mt=8\">get it now!<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a recap of where we&#8217;ve been over the last two years:<\/p>\n<p>Early in development &#8211; June 2008<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.philhassey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/06\/igalcon1.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Original menus &#8211; June 2008, background was changed by launch<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.philhassey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/06\/igalcon7.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Galcon&#8217;s launch screenshot &#8211; July 2008<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.philhassey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/1.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Soon after Galcon got multiplayer!  Here&#8217;s a shot of me testing it under linux!<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.philhassey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/igalcon11.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In March 2009, I won the IGF Innovation in Mobile Game Design award at GDC&#8217;09!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.philhassey.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/n536805207_1584367_961091.jpg\" alt=\"n536805207_1584367_961091\" width=\"453\" height=\"592\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I decided to polish up the look of Galcon a few notches, and launched a graphical overhaul in July &#8217;09.
